Adly Privacy Policy
Transparency regarding data processing and Meta platform integration
1. Introduction
Welcome to Adly ("we," "our," or "the application"), a mobile advertising management application developed and operated by Codebyakshay ("Developer", "we", or "us"). Adly is designed to assist users in connecting their authorized advertising assets and viewing or managing advertising-related information through third-party platform interfaces, specifically services provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta").
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, processed, and protected when you access, download, or use the Adly mobile application and our associated legal web pages. We are committed to processing data responsibly, transparently, and in strict adherence to applicable legal requirements and platform partner standards.
Please read this policy carefully. By using Adly, you acknowledge the handling of information as described herein.
2. Information We Handle
Adly operates as an advertising management utility. We strictly adhere to data minimization principles and process only the categories of information necessary to deliver and maintain the application's core functionality.
Specifically, the information we handle is limited to the following:
- Account and Authentication Information: Information necessary to authenticate you during login flows (such as through Meta/Facebook Login) and establish your authorized session within the application.
- Meta App-Scoped Identifiers: App-scoped user or account identifiers provided through Meta's authentication services, strictly used to authenticate you and associate your Adly configuration with your authorized session.
- Authorized Meta Advertising Asset Information: Information regarding advertising accounts, business managers, or related marketing assets that you explicitly grant Adly permission to access via Meta's authorization workflows.
- Campaign and Advertising Data: Advertising metrics, campaign configurations, ad set parameters, and related performance details retrieved through authorized Meta APIs (such as the Meta Marketing API) solely for viewing and management within Adly.
- Voluntarily Provided Communications: Information you voluntarily choose to provide when you contact us for customer support, technical assistance, or feedback (such as your contact email address and the contents of your message).
- Operational and Security Information: Basic technical, session, and security data strictly necessary to maintain the secure, stable, and proper technical operation of our services and prevent unauthorized use.
Data Practice Clarification: Adly does not collect precise geographic location, personal address books or contacts, health or medical information, financial payment instruments, biometric records, cross-site advertising identifiers, cookies, or device telemetry beyond what is strictly necessary to describe and maintain normal technical operation and authorized API connectivity.
3. How We Use Information
Information handled by Adly is used exclusively for legitimate operational and functional purposes, specifically to:
- Authenticate your identity and maintain your authorized active session.
- Connect and interface with the advertising assets and business accounts you have explicitly authorized.
- Display, organize, and facilitate the management of advertising campaigns, ad sets, creatives, and analytics within the application interface.
- Provide the specific features, workflows, and tools you request through the application.
- Safeguard the security and integrity of the application, prevent abuse, detect fraudulent activity, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Diagnose technical faults, troubleshoot software issues, and respond to user inquiries or support requests.
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and platform requirements.
4. Meta Platform Data and API Integration
Adly integrates with platform services provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., including Meta/Facebook Login and the Meta Marketing API. Because of this integration, the following conditions apply:
- User-Controlled Authorization: You explicitly initiate and authorize access through Meta's official OAuth authorization dialogues. Adly accesses your Meta advertising assets only when you affirmatively grant such permission.
- Scope of Access: Adly only requests and uses the API permissions strictly necessary to provide advertising management functionality. We do not access Meta features or data outside the boundaries of granted permissions.
- Compliance with Meta Policies: All Meta platform data accessed or handled via Adly is governed by and handled in strict accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies.
- Platform Independence & Disclaimer: Adly is an independent software tool created by Codebyakshay. Adly does not own or control Meta's platform or infrastructure. Adly is not owned, operated, endorsed, sponsored, or certified by Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta and Facebook are registered trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Adly does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal information.
We do not disclose your information to third parties except in the limited circumstances outlined below:
- Essential Service Infrastructure: When strictly required to host, operate, and maintain technical infrastructure (such as reliable cloud or hosting providers operating under confidentiality obligations on Adly's behalf).
- Third-Party Platform Interaction: When data transmission is an intrinsic component of your requested actions within the app (such as communicating user instructions or requests to Meta APIs).
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: When disclosure is strictly required to comply with a valid legal obligation, court order, or applicable statutory requirement.
- Protection of Rights and Security: When reasonably necessary to protect the safety, security, integrity, and legal rights of Adly, its users, or the general public against unlawful activity or security threats.
6. Data Retention
Adly retains handled information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the operational purposes described in this Privacy Policy, provide you with ongoing service access, maintain application security, resolve technical disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations.
When information is no longer necessary for these legitimate purposes or when a verified deletion request is received, it will be removed, de-identified, or deleted in accordance with our operational practices and platform requirements.
7. Data Deletion and User Rights
We respect your right to control your personal data. You have the right to request the deletion of your Adly-related personal information at any time.
Requesting Data Deletion via Email
You may request deletion of any personal data associated with your use of Adly by contacting us directly at:
Email: codebyakshay@codebyakshay.com
Please state "Adly Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request in accordance with applicable legal requirements and platform timelines.
Managing Permissions via Meta Account Settings
Because Adly connects via Meta platform services, you can revoke Adly's access permissions to your Meta accounts and advertising assets at any time directly through your Facebook/Meta account:
- Log in to your Facebook / Meta account.
- Navigate to your account Settings & Privacy > Settings.
- Select Apps and Websites.
- Locate Adly and choose Remove to revoke all active API authorizations.
Meta Technical Data-Deletion Callback
In full accordance with Meta Platform Developer Requirements, Adly provides a compliant technical data-deletion callback URL. When a user removes the Adly application through their Meta Apps and Websites settings and confirms a deletion request, Meta automatically transmits a signed data-deletion notification to our configured callback endpoint, initiating the technical deletion workflow for associated app-scoped data.
8. Security Safeguards
We implement commercially reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, or alteration. All communication with Meta platform APIs is conducted over encrypted, secure transport layers (HTTPS/TLS).
However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely impenetrable. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute, infallible security.
9. Third-Party Services
Adly relies upon integrations with third-party platforms, principally Meta Platforms, Inc. (including Facebook Login and Meta Marketing APIs).
These third-party platforms are governed by their own independent terms of service, privacy practices, and platform policies. We encourage users to review the privacy policies and security documentation published by Meta to understand how Meta collects and processes data across its platforms. Adly is not responsible for the privacy practices or platform operations of external third parties.
10. Children's Privacy
Adly is a specialized utility designed for advertising and commercial marketing asset management. The application is not directed to, marketed toward, or intended for use by children. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from individuals who do not possess the legal age or commercial capacity to enter into binding agreements or manage advertising accounts.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications to the application, updates in Meta API policies, or evolving legal and regulatory requirements. When material updates are made, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this page periodically to remain informed about our data protection practices.
